  • organizing 31c3 retransmissions

Since several years we do the live transmissions of the chaos communication congress. They have usually 3 streams. The most interesting one will be shown on our main screen. Optionally a second one on the whiteboard. And you can watch in the lab if needed. It would be nice if members can be there for their presency or clean up mess after 1 day of intense stream watching.

  • review of hack.lu and foire etudiant

We had a great booth at hack.lu security conference. Thierry did a twitter wall which shortly got projected on a big screen in the main conference room. For next year we should invite our members to participate in the capture the flag contest.

The booth at foire de l'étudiant was at the beesecure stand where we made visitors aware of phishing by a box intiting to look into and about possible attacks on smartphones communication via the open access points stored in the phone. About 1000 people passed, 800 looked into the box, we handed out leaflets inviting people to the open monday and the privacy salon.

A whiteboard which is also possible to use as projection screen has been approved by office. A second item has not yet been voted on.

  • Potential CASINO Installation

Steve would like to get funding for a test installation of syndelights at the Casino museum. We want to cover the windows with big pixels and do animations on them. This would be in vollaboration with graffitiresearchlab.

  • Wearable Wednesday

Steve explains what wearables are and that his workshop will take place every second wednesday in Level2. There people will learn how wearables work and how to use them.
