I honestly think we shouldn't "waste" Energy on file storage and the like with old Hardware. There are 2TB disks out there and embedded NAS Solutions that work. --SteveClement 12:14, 16 November 2009 (CET)

Well, it does seem that these "ready-made" solutions don't quite work. Why, for instance, is a DAAP broken on the Zyxel suddenly? Too many songs?! Hell knows... It's actually a pretty good idea to buy some large drives, a good 80+ (efficient) power-supply and to find a sufficiently fast motherboard / cpu combo to make the fileserver work how we want. Of course we shouldn't use old drives because they're noisy and suck a lot of juice... --Tschew 14:07, 16 November 2009 (CET)
