On my through Ireland I got in touch with 2 hackerspaces in RL and others in IRC. And as a matter of fact I would like to share their thoughts, doings, methods, etc. on managing their members & hackerspaces.
On my way through Ireland, I got the possibility to visit the hackerspace in Dublin and get a cool guide through their lodges and in Galway I was able to IRC and tweet with the guys, but couldn't hit a time when it was opened - so next time. ;)
In German there is a saying that states: "Other countries, other mores." Regarding hackerspaces, a lot of things are very similar, but also different. I tried to catch a few mentalities of them and sum they up in a 30 minute talk to share with syn2cat.
I hope we can make all together something out of it.
Duration: ~30 minutes (talk) & ~30 minutes (Q&A;Discussion)
