[edit] BOINC2syn

Science is an essential part of hackerspaces culture and are deeply implemented into the core of them.

Why BOINC2syn?

Usually it's syn2$PROJECT, this time I decided change the habit, because BOINC is a large community project which depends on the behalf of its supporters / community members and BOINC comes literally to its community members to get some additional computing power. Probably one could turn this around over and over again and support its stand with further arguments, but computing against the usual flow of the bits and bytes are also important to keep track of its own way.

[edit] Ideas

  • BOINC2syn Logo
  • reserve /want for some old / to give a way computers / processing units on which the software runs and can be used
  • do some advertisement for the project BOINC itself
  • building a network of computers / processor units out of their usual cages
  • explaining and getting kids a deeper look into the matter
  • if the project is going on for a while, inviting a person(s) from the field could get interesting
